Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic, one of the 32 provinces of this Caribbean island and one of the oldest cities, being founded in the year 1498. It is located within the limits of the National District. The city of Santo Domingo has a number of attractions and relics that are part of the history of the Dominican Republic and are truly perfect for photo sessions.
The so-called Greater Santo Domingo has important museums such as the historic Naval Museum of the Atarazanas, Museum of the Royal Houses, Museum of Modern Art, among others.Its main monuments are located in the Colonial City, specifically La Calle el Conde, La Puerta de la Misericordia, The Primate Cathedral of America, Alcázar de Colón, Parque Colón and other buildings located in the Colonial Zone, with endless buildings of structures unique with a gothic style that makes it look extraordinary.
It has parks and recreational areas and clubs that make it up. Among its main parks used for photo shoots I can mention, The botanical garden, an emblematic place with beautiful landscapes and green areas, a lake and many attractions that can be used. Its parks Mirador Sur, Mirador Norte, Ozama Wetlands, Los Tres Ojos Park with its historic caves of natural beauty in green and blue colors.
Other places it offers are the Plaza Juan Barón, the national aquarium, the ruins of Engombe with its style similar to those of the colonial zone but adding beautiful green areas and views of the Haina River, the national zoological park, palace of fine arts, etc Among everything that Santo Domingo offers, there is at least one place where you would like to have your photo session.
