Jarabacoa is a municipality in the province of La Vega, in the Dominican Republic, located two and a half hours away from Santo Domingo. It has three main rivers, which are El Yaque del Norte, El Río Jimenoa and Baiguate, where each one has an impressive waterfall that stands out throughout the place. The place has a rainy tropical climate where temperatures are always pleasant with an average of 22 °C.
It has beautiful historical places that can be used to do your photo session. The main attractions are La Jamaca De Dios, a mountain ecotourism where you can share nature in tranquility and where you can also celebrate a special date such as your wedding, fifteenth birthday or birthday in the privacy of your guests. Also Jarabacoa Country Club, Quintas del Bosque, Jarabacoa Mountain Village, Jarabacoa Golf Club, 9-hole golf course and the highest above sea level in the Antilles, Monastery of Santa María del Evangelio, of the Cistercian monks. Jimenoa Falls and Baiguate Falls, Excursions to Pico Duarte, Constanza Valley, and the Ebano Verde Scientific Reserve. Wooden pedestrian bridge over the Jimenoa River, impressive construction made with ropes and wooden crossbars. And countless villas and hotels that can accommodate your needs.
