La Casa de Bastidas is an attraction of the colonial zone, built in the 16th century. It tells its story that it belonged to Rodrigo de Bastidas, who was the founder of several cities in southern America and mayor of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and is next to the also historic Ozama Fortress Tribute Tower.
As in most places of the colonial zone, the Casa de Bastidas has an exceptional architectural structure and green areas outside the place. Without a doubt, it is one of the best places in the colonial zone for a photo session.
