The incredible moments that my clients make me experience are truly something that not everyone has the joy of enjoying, and I feel truly grateful for this opportunity that I have as a photographer to be there in those special moments of people.
In this case I had to share with Abel what would be his marriage proposal to Alejandrina. Abel chose to tell Alejandrina that they would do a photo session for them while taking a boat ride along the beach of Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic.
When I saw Alejandrina arrive from her I saw her super excited since I have known her before and I know how much she likes her photos. Once on the boat we began the trip and made several circles while her family settled down with signs on Isla La Piedra on the other side of the beach. We immediately approached one of my assistants who lent her her camera with a telephoto lens so she could look towards the island… AND BOOM! SURPRISE! The signs read: Will you marry me? While Abel was already on her knees next to her by the time he stopped looking through the camera and the emotions were immediate.
Alejandrina said yes and we all rejoiced with joy.
