This is a great starting point and inspiration for awesome color combos, that will make choosing your outfits a lot easier. Please stick to one color scheme for your photoshoot and do not mix with others.rnu003cdiv class=u0022pageu0022 title=u0022Page 23u0022u003ernu003cdiv class=u0022layoutAreau0022u003ernu003cdiv class=u0022columnu0022u003ernrnWhen choosing colors for your outfits, I recommend selecting lighter, neutral tones and more muted shades. Bright, bold or neon colors are distracting and take the focus away from where it should be: you. You can never go wrong with light neutral colors like cream, taupe, camel or light gray.rnrnI usually like to have kids in the brightest colors to pop more within the group since they’re the smallest, but this isn’t a must.rnrnu003c/divu003ernu003c/divu003ernu003c/divu003e

Coordinating doesn’t mean “MATCHING”. Wearing the same color in a different shades is actually more ideal than trying to find the EXACT color. For example, I would avoid both wearing blue tops and khaki bottoms because it could potentially come across as being very uniformed.rnrnSimple accessories work really great, please try to avoid highly noticeable accessories that could distract the main purpose of your photoshoot.rnrnShoes matter a lot. Don’t have someone in dress shoes while some else has sandals on.

Color coordination is one of the most important aspect of your photoshoot. As a first advice, we do not recommend at all that everyone should be wearing matching clothes.rnrnIt’s important that there is some variation in color and outfit styles. To get the best results you don’t want everyone wearing what seems a uniform.rnrnBe careful with patterns but don’t be afraid of them! Try and think more texture and less pattern. But I do recommend large floral pattens on dresses, just make sure all the colors are all in your color palette.rnrnMake sure you don’t put everyone in jeans. Mix it up, texture and color. Maybe girls in skirts and boys in chinos while dad wears jeans and so on.

u003cp class=u0022u0022u003eIts extremely challenging to get everyone in the same shade of white, so unless you only have one person in white. avoid it. Choose cream or ivory instead, it’s much more forgiving.u003c/pu003ernAside from color matching, using logos and any kind of graphics is also not recommended as it is too distracting. Avoid it at all cost.rnrnAlso we advice not to try to use way to trendy outfits as it will look outdated in a few years and we don’t want you to feel bad if you look at your pictures and feel it was a bad decision. This doesn’t mean that you need to look formal at all.
